Only drivers whose names appear in the rental contract are allowed to drive the rental car.

What is the voucher and why do I need one?

The voucher is the confirmation of your booking. It contains your booking number and all the information you will need to pick up your car.

What happens if I don’t bring my voucher to pick the car up?

Please note you will need to bring your voucher to the pick up office to be able to collect your car. We suggest you print it out to speed up the pick up process.

Can I extend my car rental reservation?

You can extend the contract as long as the rental company allows extensions and has availability for the additional days, although currently very few companies allow contract extensions. Please note that in order to extend the rental contract, you will need to go to the office where you picked up the vehicle to sign the extension. If you do not go to the office to sign, the vehicle insurance may become invalid, and the company may penalize you for not signing the extension on time.

Can I extend my car rental booking once I have picked up the car?

You will be able to extend your booking as long as the hire company permits extensions and provided that the car is available for the extra days. Please note that you will need to go to the local office to sign the contract extension. Failure to do so can invalidate the insurance and result in a penalty charge for not extending the contract on time.

Can I add an additional driver to my car rental reservation?

The details of additional drivers are provided directly at the office when picking up the vehicle.

Will I have to leave a deposit when I collect my car?

For most offers on our website you will be required to leave a security deposit when you collect the car. As long as you bring the car back undamaged at the end of the rental, the money will be unblocked / returned.

What fuel policy is recommended in Venice?
