Our insurance

All hire cars include Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Theft Protection (TP). These basic coverages are already included in the final price, although they usually come with an excess.

With DoYouItaly’s Premium Insurance, that excess is covered. It’s more affordable than the insurance offered by the rental companies. A deposit will be held when you collect the car, which is refunded if the vehicle is returned without damage. If there is any, DoYouItaly will reimburse the amount retained.

Which Cards Can You Use?

You can pay on our website using most credit and debit cards. While online payment with a debit card is accepted, most car hire companies require a credit card in the name of the main driver when you pick up the vehicle.

In some cases, it’s possible to hire a car using a debit card, but this depends on the supplier. Always check the details, where the specific conditions are clearly outlined.
